Video Export Beta for Brush Ninja Animation Maker
For a long time I have wanted to add the ability to export animations as videos. I even added sound effects in the hope that I could, but I couldn’t find a way to do it.
Well, today I am happy to announce that I now have video export ready and released in Beta!
How to Export a Video
The process is actually pretty simple. Open the export menu and select the Export as video option.
The conversion process will play your animation in the background, and record it as it plays. This means the export may take a while if you have made a long animation.
Once the export is complete you will be able to download the video as a WebM file. This is a video format that is supported by most modern browsers. If you want to convert it to another format then I also have a free WebM to MP4 convertor.
Beta
Currently this process is in Beta. This means that the feature is not 100% complete. I am still working on it, and I would love to hear your feedback. In particular, if it works, or if there are any problems. Hopefully it all works great but I will continue tweaking it based on your feedback.
Members Only
This feature is only available to Brush Ninja Members. If you are not a member then you can join here.
By offering video export exclusively to our members, I hope to ensure a high-quality experience for all users. As a small independent platform, your support as a member is crucial in sustaining and expanding the Brush Ninja community. By subscribing to a membership, you contribute to the ongoing development of new features, and the availability of free tools and resources to a wider audience. Your membership not only enables your own creative growth but also helps us foster a vibrant and supportive community of artists and educators.
What next?
Besides making sure the video export works well I want to add more new sound effects. Since the video export supports audio I want to make sure there are plenty of sounds to choose from. To add to this, I also plan to add a feature for members to upload their own sound and music. This will open up even more creative possibilities.
