  • If Adults subscribe to a paid account then Brush Ninja will collect personal information in order to take payments and perform neccessary operations related. This information will be encrypted and not passed on to other third-party companies.
  • Brush Ninja features advertisements served by third=party companies. These can be removed with a paid subscription plan.

What is Brush Ninja?

Brush Ninja is a website for creative people. It can be found at: https://brush.ninja. It is owned and operated by Ben Gillbanks.

We don’t sell your data

We don’t gather or sell your information or create user profiles for selling. By offering an extensive free version of Brush Ninja we hope to inspire people to be creative and have fun. Hopefully users will love Brush Ninja enough to pay for a Premium Membership, but this is entirely optional.

Advertising

You control who sees your content

You own the content (animations and artwork) that you create with Brush Ninja and you have the ability to download your content or use it with a different product. What Information We Collect

You don’t have to provide any data to use Brush Ninja. Any data collected will be given freely as detailed below. In these instances the data collected will be required for the specified service to be offered.

While Brush Ninja endeavors to maintain compliance with COPPA, FERPA, and EdLaw 2-d regulations, it’s important to note that third-party entities, such as advertisers, may not follow the same standards. While we strive to safeguard the privacy of our young users, we advise adult supervision and discretion when using our platform.

How We Collect Data

We may collect your data in a few different ways.

Memberships

The paid Memberships system uses two services, Userbase for the Memberships and Stripe for the payments. They both have their own privacy policies which are linked to.

We do not give these services any data beyond the minimum required for them to work. Userbase only stores a username, and optionally an email address, plus the subscription details. Stripe stores the payment information so that the subscription can function.

Contact Forms

The main method for us collecting data is through our contact forms. Here you will supply your name and email address so that we can respond to your messages, the information supplied will not be used for any other purpose. Newsletter

The newsletter is served by Buttondown you can see the Buttondown privacy policy on their website. We will only use your email address to send you regular email newsletters. To receive the newsletters you must confirm you subscription. There is a link in every newsletter to unsubscribe.

Who We Share Your Data With

Brush Ninja is hosted on third party web servers.

  • Firebase - is a hosting and database site. We only use them for serving static html. They do not receive any other data. Firebase is a Google company and so uses the Google Privacy Policies. Firebase Privacy Policy
  • Userbase - is a memberships service allowing Brush Ninja to implement a signup and login system. They only store a username, password, and optional email address. All of the data stored in Userbase is encrypted and not visible by anyone. Userbase Privacy Policy
  • Stripe - is a payment provider. They collect and manage payment information for registered users with a subscription. Stripe Privacy Policy
  • Cloudflare - is a website optimization service that helps us to make our website fast and secure for our visitors. Cloudflare Privacy Policy

The following websites are third party content providers. On some pages we link to or embed their content.

  • YouTube - is a video hosting service provided by Google Inc. that allows this Website to add videos to our site. Youtube Privacy Policy
  • Other external websites - Our website includes links to other websites, whose privacy practices may be different from ours. What do we do with your data?

How long do we keep hold of your information?

We retain information for the purposes of reporting, and communication. If you ask, we will delete any data of yours that we hold.
