As a child of the 80s, Star Wars is a film series that I was raised on. George Lucas is responsible for a lot of my love of science fiction, fantasy, and creative development. One of my goals when I went to university was to work for ILM - the special effects house started by George Lucas for the Star Wars movies.
For what it’s worth, my other goals were to work for either Pixar or Nintendo.
Anyway, since it’s Star Wars day, I have updated the images included in the Brush Ninja images tool to feature a lightsaber and two blades.
As an Englishman, I’m also excited about the coronation of King Charles III this weekend, so I’ve added a crown image. In addition, as a massive Zelda fan, I’m eagerly anticipating the release of the new game next week, so I’ve added a tri-force image as well. There are lots of new pictures to explore!
What have I been up to?
These images are just a bit of fun. This month, I’ve mostly been doing Brush Ninja adjacent things. A lot of my work has been focused on learning about artificial intelligence and how I can use it to improve the quality of my work and expand my creative horizons.
The progress made in AI over the past few years is astonishing, and as a programmer, I’m excited to see where it will take us in the future.
However, this learning and research process means that there hasn’t been much progress in terms of building new things for you to see. But I hope this will change in the next couple of months! 😄
In the Gallery
There’s been some cool stuff added to the gallery this month. In particular on Instagram there’s been some amazing animations.
Here’s a few of my favorites:
Thank you so much for your continued support. I hope you had a great Star Wars day, and may the force be with you!
